Not only are we lucky enough to have goat farmers as friends, but they’re actually letting us watch over their farm for a week. Four hours away from our tiny East Village apartment in NYC we now find ourselves on a farm in central NY. Over one hundred acres. Over seventy goats (most of which are pregnant, fifteen kids, two bucks). A coop full of chickens (two of them roosters). Two young male cats. A female terrier who runs the show. And us – the two transplants from a different world with the responsibility to keep everyone alive and happy. |
hi guys,
looks like absolute fun. wish i were with you.

p.s. – isn’t a female goat kid called doeling? …
